Customer stories
Trusted with the instruments that matter
“I'd like to graciously thank Mike Lowery for the work he did on my Ken Smith six string bass. It's a high end instrument and it's almost twenty years old. Needless to say, I was a bit hesitant to let just anyone work on it. I was certain the bass needed a refret, but Mike was able to dress the instrument without having to do a complete refret which saved me some $$$. I initially thought I was going to have to drive to Nashville or Atlanta but, little did I know, we have such a talented craftsman right here in Chattanooga, Tennessee. My instrument is like new again. I am very grateful to have Mike Lowery with his expertise and knowledge so close to home.”
“I'm new to the area and found Mike Lowery online. Please don't hesitate to utilize his service. Timely, expertly competent and IMHO, underpriced. He did a wonderful job with my 2017 channel-bound Strat. He's broadly experienced, insightful and communicative about what he finds and how to mitigate any issues. I'm grateful to have found him and will certainly utilize him the next time I have need. Highly recommended.”
A word from Mike
Grateful for a great teacher
“I would like to give a special thank you to my good friend and mentor Sonny Thomas. Sonny has done the finest fret and repair work for some of the best players in Nashville (including somebody named Chet), and he is an inductee in the National Thumbpickers Hall of Fame. His willingness to share his vast knowledge base and experience has been invaluable to me. I really can't thank him enough.”
